Fit4Mom Madison

Fit Moms + Fit Kids = Fit Communities

Moms know that it’s hard to balance your health and workouts with the many other priorities that come with your role.  But, we also recognize that it’s an important piece of the puzzle for a healthy family!  Studies show that families who have a mother-figure who makes her health a priority raise healthier kids, and there are several key ways that you can find time to exercise while your kids are young:

  • Involve your kids when possible
  • Find a community of other moms who can support you and help you all reach fitness goals together

So, we were excited to learn that one of our biggest partners, Harbor Athletic Club, is launching a FIT4MOM Franchise – FIT4MOM Madison.  FIT4MOM is the national leader in pre and postnatal fitness. By partnering with FIT4MOM, Harbor is looking forward to growing the community of moms and expanding their program offerings.

“We envision Harbor becoming the place that moms go.  From Stroller Strides workouts for moms with their little ones, Body Back mom-only workout, Fit4Baby Prenatal and Our Village playgroups, there is something for everyone,” said Director Jackie Dorris.  FIT4MOM provides a unique opportunity for moms to workout in a supportive environment of fellow moms who get their challenges and struggles.   Harbor sees this as a way to add on to their current prenatal aqua and yoga classes. Their ultimate goal is to help moms and babies start off their fitness journeys on the right foot.
