Volunteers make our organization possible, and we can’t do this without you! If you are interested in volunteering for a 2017 event or program, please fill out our volunteer form at the bottom of this page and we will get back to you right away.
There are many positions available, and we do our best to provide volunteers a t-shirt as well as food and drinks. In general, here are the roles where we need help on race day. Any course volunteers should be age 15 and older for safety reasons.
- Pre-race packet pickup (usually the day prior to races in the evening)
- Registration/packet pick-up
- Transition Area helpers
- Swim course help
- Bike course pointers
- Run course help
- Finish line helpers
- Help with adaptive aquathon (swim +run/wheelchair) – experience with children with disabilities preferred
If you can’t attend a race, there are still valuable ways to donate your time to Tri 4 Schools! We rely on volunteers to help us in our promotions and marketing campaigns, as well as in pre-race tasks and administrative help. Just let us know where you’d like to be involved and we will find a place for you!

Exercise to Achievement Volunteers
We are always on the lookout for volunteers that can help out on a regular basis (once or twice per week). Parent volunteers are responsible for helping with check-in, handing out snacks, encouraging kids and supporting coaches in leading the kids through their activities.
While the kids will be doing swimming, biking, and running, parents don’t need to be super athletes to join! As long as you have a positive attitude and energy to help wrangle kids when needed, you’ll be perfect.
