Volunteers make our organization possible, and we can’t do this without you! If you are interested in volunteering for a 2018 event or program, please fill out our volunteer form at the bottom of this page and we will get back to you right away.

Event Volunteers

There are many positions available, and we do our best to provide volunteers a t-shirt as well as food and drinks. In general, here are the roles where we need help on race day.  Any course volunteers should be age 15 and older for safety reasons.

  • Pre-race packet pickup (usually the day prior to races in the evening) 4-7pm
  • Setup or take-down (good for those who can’t commit to a four hour shift during the events)
    • Set-up 5:30-7:30am
    • Take-down 11:30-1:30pm
  • Race Day Registration/packet pick-up 6:30-10:30am
  • Transition Area helpers
    • 6:30-10:30am OR 7:30-11:30am
  • Swim course help 7:30-11:30am
  • Bike course pointers 7:30-11:30am
  • Run course help 7:30-11:30am
  • Finish line helpers 7:30-11:30am

If you can’t attend a race, there are still valuable ways to donate your time to Tri 4 Schools! We rely on volunteers to help us in our promotions and marketing campaigns, as well as in pre-race tasks and administrative help. Please select the “Other” option and let us know where you’d like to be involved!

Our remaining 2018 event dates are:

Verona Family Mud Run – Saturday, September 22nd

Exercise to Achievement Volunteers

We are always on the lookout for volunteers that can commit to helping throughout our eight week after-school program (once or twice per week during the 3-5pm timeframe) between March and June.  Parent volunteers are responsible for helping with check-in, handing out snacks, encouraging kids and supporting coaches in leading the kids through their activities.

While the kids will be doing swimming, biking, and running, parents don’t need to be super athletes to join!  As long as you have a positive attitude and energy to help wrangle kids when needed, you’ll be perfect.
